It's been a bit more than 10 months since Lily came into our lives, and it's been an incredible experience watching her grow, develop, and learn. Some of these changes have been challenges in their own right, such as the session of double teething that took nearly four weeks to finally cut and stop troubling her, but even those that have perplexed us have shown a daughter who is advancing faster than we thought was possible. For one, Lily is starting to get much better at walking.
While Lily usually prefers to do her walking with a hand on someone/something, she's started actively walking after things instead of crawling for them. With increased walking, Lily is more actively trying to climb things as well.
Thankfully her climbing ability has been reserved for things like her car seat, but she is so proud of herself when she gets there. Of course, she is skilled in generally getting herself into interesting places.
Lily's also been slowly figuring out how to interact/play with others, rather than just slap at things, most often with her fellow baby friend Betty Grace.
Of course, Lily also loves playing with her kitty friends as well.
