2 month well-baby appointment

Well, Lily got her shots at her two-month well-baby checkup on the 23rd. Here she is while we were waiting for the nurse to come in with the supplies. Looks a little scared, doesn't she?

The nurse was really quick about it, which helped. For the oral vaccine, she would drink a little eagerly, then pull back and make a grossed out face. A moment later, she eagerly drank more since she was still anticipating it would be milk. Halfway through the second of the three shots, she realized what was going on and started to cry. She turned the reddest I have ever seen her! I fed her, and she calmed down really quickly. She was a little warm for the rest of the day and very sleepy.

She's growing really well. Her weight was 11 lb. 8.5 oz., which is the 51st percentile. She's still pretty short: 22" (26%). She might be a little taller, but I don't think she was squished that much. Her head was 15" in circumference (48%).

Lily's vision has improved along with her social smiling (smiling in response to someone or something and not as a grimace while pooping). She smiles when we get in front of her and talk excitedly.
